About
Dr. Juan Bosquez began lecturing for the Department of Civil Engineering in January 2017. He has accumulated over 28 years of professional experience in the Construction, Design, and Maintenance of Highway Transportation Facilities while developing extensive experience in construction management on bid-build and design-build transportation projects. His range of experience in civil engineering are in design, construction, and maintenance of highways systems that include: pavement design, asphalt and concrete mix testing, utilization of recycled asphalt and concrete materials, chip seals, scheduling, claim analysis and mitigation, accelerated construction, developing sustainable projects, project estimating, project development, bridge structures and foundations, prestressed and post-tension concrete, forming systems, retaining wall systems, drainage structures, railroad structures, and temporary shoring.
